Ruddy Meicher Fingerstyle Acoustic Guitarist and Percussive (1)

One definition of the technique has been put forward by the Toronto (Canada) Fingerstyle Guitar Association: Physically, “Fingerstyle” refers to using each of the right hand fingers independently in order to play the multiple parts of a musical arrangement that would normally be played by several band members. Bass, harmonic accompaniment, melody, and percussion can all be played simultaneously when playing Fingerstyle Percussive fingertsyle is a new term .It’s a style which integrate [fast attacks] and fast hits at the strings . hit the guitar with the hand to add a percussion track .

Bio Ruddy Meicher is self-taught acoustic guitarist who mainly plays by ear . He's a Fingerstyle and Percussive fingerstyle guitarist pianist and percusionist. Ruddy began on the piano as a child, with a blind teacher who developed very soon a sharp ear. As a teen was obsessed with drums and other percussion. His guitar style grew from this obsession, as well as the various non-guitar influences such as trip hop and tribal house music.

He studies Gypsy Techniques in Spain and mathematical music theory. The guitar become is mean of expression when he discover Andy Mckee. Ruddy take some of his techniques to specialized himself in fingerstyle Inspired by several fields very different from guitar , as the trip hop , the tribal electronic house music,piano, and percussions, he's different by his particular Guitar playing and develops his own style, immediately identifiable. He refined his technique and his arranger skills with musical Arrangements in « fingerstyle guitar » From francis Cabrel to rihanna, Eagles, U2 or Bob Marley or Michael Jackson , Ruddy arrange and perform more than 50 songs. He perform too some of is compositions , 20 in percussive fingerstyle .

Currently is a partner on Youtube and Dailymotion as an acoustic guitar player .He is guitar teacher for a french magazine « guitare live » and tester for « guitariste.com », the first guitar french-speaking portal. In June 2012 Ruddy is endorsed by Breedlove. Since october 2010 a growing audience follows him notably by his facebook page which represents more than 7000 fans . Since year and a half , his youtube channel has more than 600 000 views . His video’s arrangements also are very popular ; his sheets/tabs they’re sold in 23 countries .
