Recipient of Institute Merit Scholarship for 2006-07 given to Departmental Toppers every year. Ranked among top 1% students in IIT-JEE 2005 Examination for entrance into the IITs. Was regular recipient of Merit Scholarship given by Somerville School to the batch toppers every year.

Development of Ontology based Search Engine for searching Semantic Web Testing and deploying Voice based JSP applications for World Wide Telecom Web Developing context-aware voice applications for Emerging regions Automation of Student Affairs Section of IIT Guwahati Software was designed to implement the Web based Automation of the Student Affairs Section of IIT, Guwahati. Selected for the prestigious IBM Research Summer Internship after second year. Obtained 2nd Position in Code@Enq ,the online programming contest in Cognizance’06 organized by IIT Roorkee Consecutively obtained ranks within top 100 in National Science Olympiad, Conducted by Science Olympiad Foundation every year with highest rank of AIR-34 twice in class VIII and class X. Was part of organizing team of Techniche’05 and Techniche’06, the Annual TechnoManagement Festival of IIT Guwahati. Was part of Organizing Team of Alcheringa’06 and Alcheriga’07, the Annual Cultural Festival of IIT Guwahati. Designed and successfully competed under Semi-Autonomous Robots category in Techniche’06. The problem consisted of finding the shortest path between 2 locations on an arena. Programming was done in MATLAB.
