Development of Ontology based Search Engine for searching Semantic Web Testing and deploying Voice based JSP applications for World Wide Telecom Web Developing context-aware voice applications for Emerging regions Automation of Student Affairs Section of IIT Guwahati Software was designed to implement the Web based Automation of the Student Affairs Section of IIT, Guwahati. The Server Side scripting is done in JSP with Sun Java Application Server 9 as the Web Server platform and MySQL server for effective Database Storage. The Client side scripting was done in HTML, JavaScript and AJAX. Java Beans were used for total re-usability. The salient features of project include : 9

Implementation of Chat Client- Server Architecture As part of the Software Engineering Course, a software was designed which implemented all basic features of a Client Server Architecture. The Programming was done in JAVA and TCP/IP protocol was followed. Salient Features were : 9

Selected for the prestigious IBM Research Summer Internship after second year. Obtained 2nd Position in Code@Enq ,the online programming contest in Cognizance’06 organized by IIT Roorkee Consecutively obtained ranks within top 100 in National Science Olympiad, Conducted by Science Olympiad Foundation every year with highest rank of AIR-34 twice in class VIII and class X. Was part of organizing team of Techniche’05 and Techniche’06, the Annual TechnoManagement Festival of IIT Guwahati. Was part of Organizing Team of Alcheringa’06 and Alcheriga’07, the Annual Cultural Festival of IIT Guwahati. Designed and successfully competed under Semi-Autonomous Robots category in Techniche’06. The problem consisted of finding the shortest path between 2 locations on an arena. Programming was done in MATLAB.
