The House Appropriations Committee has reported a General Appropriation Bill, House Bill 1999. House Bill 1999 is scheduled to be voted the week of May 2. Pursuant to House Rule 19(b), any Member who wishes to offer an amendment to the General Appropriation Bill must file that amendment with the Office of the Chief Clerk by 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 25, 2016. My amendment offered on the floor of the House that contains an increase in general hind spending must be offset by a corresponding reduction in general fund spending of an equal or greater amount.
