MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP An individual with physical challenges pursuing a postsecondary education or an individual pursuing a postsecondary education toward a career involving the physical rehabilitation of persons with physical disabilities. Deadline April 10, 2016 Money Smart Scholarship Fox Cities Graduating high school seniors are encouraged to answer this year's Money Smart question with an essay of 500 750 words. Three finalists will be selected and one student will be named the scholarship winner. There will be two runnerup's. Must be a graduating senior. All essays will become the property of the Money Smart Committee and may be used by Committee members to promote financial literacy. PROSPERA CREDIT UNION SCHOLARSHIP CONTEST Prospera Credit Union is offering a scholarship essay contest to a graduating high school senior, attending a two or four year accredited educational institution in the fall of 2016, and a member of Prospera Credit Union by March 11, 2016. CAPITAL CREDIT UNION SCHOLARSHIP Applicant must be a Capital Credit Union member with a cumulative grade point of at least 2.5. Applicant must be in good standing during the applying semester and stay in good standing. Applicant cannot be a family member of a credit union employee or board member. Application is in Guidance. ONEY JOHNSTONEDWARD BLESSMAN AMERICAN LEGION POST #38 Local/$1000 Status: Senior Criteria, in addition to a satisfactory scholarship record, are financial need, character, and leadership. Relationship to a veteran is NOT a requirement. This information would only be considered as a tiebreaker between otherwise equally deserving applicants. Application is in Guidance. WISCONSIN TOWNS ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP Wisconsin Towns Association Scholarship Program, funded together with our scholarship partners Rural Mutual Insurance Company and Scott Construction, Inc. All applicants must be graduating from a Wisconsin public or private high school in 2015 and plan to attend a Wisconsin public or private college or vocational technical institute. The essay should address the topic: “What strategies should legislators consider to address the dilemma of increasing town/village fire and emergency medical service costs?” The deadline for submissions is May 30th, 2016. APPLICATION ONLINE AT www.wisctowns.com WISCONSIN PETROLEUM MARKETERS & CONVENIENCE STORE ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP Applicant must be a WPMCA member, an employee of a WPMCA member, or a child of a WPMCA member or employee residing in Wisconsin. The WPMCA member company must be in good standing for a minimum of one year. A high school senior or graduate, or a college undergraduate, who is enrolled or will be enrolled as a fulltime undergraduate at an accredited public or private two or four year college, university or vocational/technical school. Awarded based on financial need. Application available in Guidance and online at www.cffoxvalley.org/scholarships Deadline April 1, 2016 Soulstrings Music Camp Scholarship Soulstrings Music Camp Scholarship is available to provide financial assistance for students attending a summer music camp, festival or program for STRING instruments. Open to students in grades 712 who reside in Outagamie, Winnebago, Calumet, Waupaca, Brown, or Shawano County. Scholarships will be determined on basis of financial need. Student must be or have been a participant in a Junior Achievement program during the current school year and lawfully reside in the United States. Students from any grade level may apply. Employees of Junior Achievement and any immediate family members, whether living in the same household or not, and anyone living in the same household, whether related or not, are not eligible to apply for scholarships. For other information on a number of other state and national JA scholarships visit http://appleton.ja.org COOLIDGE SCHOLARS PROGRAM FOR JUNIORS The scholarship program is administered by the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation The official foundation dedicated to America’s Thirtieth president. The scholarship program launches this very year, and the first class of Coolidge Scholars will be named in spring 2016. The Foundation intends to select a minimum of two Coolidge Scholars. The Coolidge Scholarship is among the most generous in America: it is a fullride scholarship that covers a student’s tuition, room, board, and expenses for four years of undergraduate study at any accredited U.S. university. World Affairs Seminar
For students 1618, good academic standing, interested in global issues and building a strong portfolio for college and future. Seminar focuses on the complex world health issues including medical resources and developments, economics, sanitation, personal responsibility and differing customs to name a few. High school students will tackle significant challenges as they develop their own points of view. The interactive learning experience helps them learn to support their ideas and negotiate solutions.
