and other student or adult data. 1) I will attend workshop and trainings and share learning with the appropriate staff.

2) I will make phone calls and research what is available to our families. I will record this information in a user friendly format.
2) A physical document will be produce and available for families, staff, and community members.
Step 3 - Evidence of Professional Growth Final Review Describe the evidence that you have collected. Provide evidence and documentation for the supervisor or certificated colleague to review.
Comment [BO2]: Activities are aligned to goals. Activities are not well defined or detailed. Activities do not have any method to measure professional or student growth. Not a lot of variety of activities. Some activities lead to new learning / practices / interventions, etc.
Goal 1. To gain professional development in the area of autism. Rational: to bring back tools for parents and staff to use and help students reduce anxiety throughout the school day. I attended three trainings this year. 1) Understanding students with autism 2) Anxiety and emotion regulation for autism spectrum disorder 3) A trainer was brought in from the ESD The first two trainings provided a better understanding of what autism can be and ideas to help students through their days. The third training gave me actual tools that I was able to take back and use with students the next day. Goal 2. Develop a resource list for families, community members, and school staff. Rational: That there will be a place to go for help. I have been working on this and have a list started. I plan on keep working on this because there are very few local resources. I have made a few good connections in Tri-Cities, but that is an hour away.
Step 4 - Reflection/Implications Describe your learning and outcomes from the PGP activities. Based on this learning, what are some next steps that might guide future professional growth? I have enjoyed this process and have taken many things from it. First, my basic knowledge about autism and the new classifications has grown. I am able to talk and explain the new changes in the DSM. Second, I now have ideas and tools that I can share with others to help our students with autism. Third, I have also realized that I would like to receive a lot more training in this area. There are not many resources in the town where we live and I would love to become one of these resources. Lastly, resources for the families that live in the middle of the state are few and far between. Very few of them are free and many do not provide services in Spanish. For my next steps, I would like to keep working on my list of resources. I would also love to receive more training and maybe even provide some training to those around me.
Step 5 - Review of PGP Completion (to be completed no later than June 30) I declare under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State of Washington that I have completed the professional growth plan and submitted evidence to that effect.
