November 2017 Montana Teachers and the OPI are working towards building formative assessments that can give teachers the opportunity to work with their students in processing their three-dimensional learning. Updates will be coming as the work progresses. If you’d like to get involved let me know! - Michelle McCarthy Two weeks ago OPI representatives from the Indian Education for All, the Assessment Division and the Content Standards and Instruction Division were invited to a conference. We met with science state specialists and assessment representatives from many states, as well as, researchers. The discussion stemmed around the advantages of using the STEM Teaching Tools that are available free for everyone! We highly recommend you visit this site, whether you are a teacher or an administrator these tools are useful in the implementation of the new science standards.
