Argosy University Career Services is pleased to announce an internship/practicum opportunity within the office of Student Services. This position will focus on assisting students with career exploration, IDEA assessments, resume and cover letter development, and interviewing techniques. This position will also work on program development for Argosy University’s Career Services and meeting the needs of the student body. The individual will have direct contact hours with undergraduate students who require career counseling. The individual will also develop content and facilitate workshops to the student body on: Resume and Cover Letter Writing Interviewing Techniques How to Conduct an Effective Job Search Additionally, the student will be in charge of managing and updating Career Corner, the career information resource area in the student lounge. The individual should work well under minimal supervision and be self motivated. The individual should have experience in counseling and an understanding of career-based counseling. Individuals with experience working with students in a university environment are preferred. Public speaking and professional presentation experience is required. The successful candidate will support all aspects of the career services program along with managing job and internship development, recruiting for workshops and all activities related to employment events and programs.
