Minimum Educational Qualification
Wards of Employees (In Service / Retired / ESS) and students sponsored by TATA STEEL employees (In Service) The applicant should necessarily have completed / appeared in the exam of 5th Semester of the 4-year Engineering Degree Course from an AICTE Engineering approved institute in any of the following discipline:Mechanical / Production / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Metallurgy / Chemical / Civil / Mining / IT – Computer.
Management
The applicant must have passed 1st year of a 2-year Management Course from a recognized institute in any of the following areas:HR-IR / Finance / Marketing / Supply Chain Management / Logistics / Corporate Communication / Operation Management / Social Welfare.
Unpaid Training: Tata Steel neither pays any stipend nor does it charge anything for training. However, an amount of Rs. 200/- to be paid by the candidate to NTTF, Jamshedpur, using DEBIT / CREDIT Card only, as processing fee for RFID Card (applicable to candidates only, who will be doing their project inside the steel works premises). Conveyance: Tata Steel does not provide any conveyance. However, inside the steel works premises, they can avail the free bus service for movement. General Information

Duration of o The training duration will be of 3 weeks to a maximum of 8 weeks. Training and o Trainees will be inducted in groups on Every Tuesday from 21-MAR-2017 to Reporting 27-JUN-2017 only. On completion of the project, the trainee will have to submit the Project Completion Report in soft copy and Attendance Sheet (duly certified by the respective guide) and return the Certificate Gate Pass, RFID Card, Arm Band provided by TATA STEEL, to Recruitment Cell, SNTI.
