Teacher Guide Summary of Lesson
Summary- KJ was given a squirt of shaving cream, a small paint brush and water colors already soaked in water. He transferred water colors to the shaving cream by isolating one finger or using the paint brush. As he explored, he repeated the colors after me. KJ enjoyed this activity. He played for ten minutes. At the beginning of the activity, he did not like the feeling of shaving cream on his fingers. I hand over hand helped him explore the cream. After a few seconds he manipulated the cream independently using his fingers and the paintbrush.
