Projects Efficient Artistic Image-Video Style Transfer

• Today, the world is fully digitized and image stylization becoming interesting part of research dealing with oil paintings, colorinzation, cartoons, etc. In image style transfer, the information of some images can be perceptually enhanced like color transfer enhances the details of a grayscale image. Matlab is used for implementation without any deep neural network tools.
Handwritten Signature Based Human Psychology Prediction using Time Series Analysis SELF

• In this, human signatures are used to perform user identification and signature verification. The time series technology is used here for spatial to frequency conversion which is analyzed using min-max DST co-efficient. The co-efficient are used for classification using k-NN classifier. The analysis also results in human signature sub-classification predicting the mental state of human while he/she was signing. With a great success the task was completed but needs more enhancements. • Improved automated region growing approach to detect brain tumor from a volumetric FLAIR MR images. This project focuses on multiple thresholding techniques to obtain suitable seed points for region grow algorithm to accurately segment the tumor and visualize it in a 3D volume. • An automated intelligent mobile vision based technique for extracting principal lines from colored images of human palm to predict the personality of users. A robust and efficient algorithm is designed to work on low processing devices such as mobile phones with low resolution camera. A mobile client-server architecture is involved in this project. • Most of the diseases in plants have their visual effect on leaves- changes in color, spots formation, and variation in shape and in patterns of vein diagram, etc. The project focuses to match the image of the test leaf with the dataset collection by using several feature extraction and matching algorithms (Gabor Wavelet Transform (GWT) and Support Vector Machine respectively).

• Presenting an automated intelligent computer vision based HCI system to control and interact without skin- color MAP algorithm to detect motion with more accurate and more natural and efficient way. The experiment involves a very simple mathematics for color tolerance and for motion detection used a trigonometric concept further for action performance based on the gesture definition to compute on low-computing machine such as mobile devices. Here, hand gesture is used to operate presentation by the presenters for easiness while presenting in front of a large gathering and practically sounds good in performance.

Biography Shitala Prasad currently joined as Research Fellow (RF) at CYSREN@NTU Singapore working on text spotting and deep learning in cybercrime. Earlier, as a Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF) at GREYC-Lab CNRS, University of Caen, France he worked on image astheticness computation. He received his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR), India in Computer Science and Engineering department. He has received his M.Tech. degree from Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIITA), in Information Technology in year 2011 and B.Tech. degree in Computer Science in year 2009 from IILM, Greater Noida, India. He is specialized in Human Computer Interaction (HCI). His major research work interest is in Computer Vision, Gesture Recognition, Virtual and Augmented Reality, O/H Character Recognition. Along with this, he also works on Mobile Agro-Imaging in Cloud Computing for Android environment – Agriculture-as-a-Service (AaaS).
