Short Fiction This prompt is modelled from NPR’s Three Minute Fiction. You have similar restraints as the contest winners: write a work--that can be based in truth or fiction--that can be read within three minutes. For the purposes of this class, let’s define your piece as being between 100-600 words. Your story must include one character whose strength comes from that which cannot be seen and one character who does not believe. Please do not consider these characters as opposites or complements.
