Band 2 and 3 Side-By-Side Rehearsal/Concert with Boulder High School What: A chance to rehearse and perform with the Boulder High School Concert Band! When: Rehearsal is during their class on Wed. Feb. 4, 9-10:40 am. *during Late Start time Performance is Thursday Feb. 5 at 6 pm (call time 5 pm) Where: Boulder High School (for both the rehearsal and the performance) Bring: Your instrument, your case, and a pencil Volunteers: We need a few parents to help transport large instruments on Wed. morning to BHS. Bonus points for having filled out the volunteer background check for the district in case any students need to ride (emergencies, injuries, etc.) ***The concert and rehearsal are both required as part of their grade for this class.*** Wednesday details: Because the rehearsal takes place during what is normally Late Start, students will need to either: ● Arrive at Casey MS by 8:30 am (even though it is Late Start) to walk over with the group and with teachers ● Arrive at Boulder HS by 8:50 am to be set for the 9:00 am rehearsal. PARENTS NEED TO INDICATE THEIR CHOICE ON THE PERMISSION FORM. All students will walk back to Casey MS after the rehearsal is over at 10:40. Lunch will be served or brought as usual as students won’t miss their normal lunch time. Thursday details: Concert is in the Boulder High School Auditorium at 6 pm. Students need to arrive by 5 pm in order to warm up and run-through pieces with the concert band. Please wear your concert attire of a white-collared shirt and jeans. Thank you!
