This unique sports program offers participants a chance to try one of the world’s fastest growing sports for athletes with a disability. Come out, get active, and participate. Sessions include a warm-up, skill development and games.
What is Sitting Volleyball ? Sitting volleyball is an alternative form of volleyball designed for athletes with a disability, but is a game that can be played by everyone. It follows the traditional volleyball concepts, with a few rule changes, the largest being that athletes are seated directly on the playing surface at all times when in play. The sport is played on a smaller court and with a lower net than conventional volleyball. Can’t play volleyball anymore because of bad knees? Try Sitting Volleyball.
