Hazardous Weather Discussion A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 8 AM today to 6 AM Sunday for Sussex, Warren and Morris Counties. Intermittent snow is forecast this AM, becoming steadier this evening and tonight. Most accumulating snow will fall overnight tonight. Counties north and west of the NJ Turnpike may also experience some light snow accumulations overnight. Rain is forecast today statewide.

Winter Weather Advisory Hazardous Weather Outlook Small Craft Advisory Gale Warning

Impacts to New Jersey Snow may be mixed with sleet and rain for locations in NW NJ. Today’s rain should minimize snow accumulations for areas that see snow, however colder overnight temperatures may result in light accumulations in the northern half of the state. Snow, rain and sleet can create slippery conditions on untreated roads, bridges, sidewalks and other surfaces.
