* While Health can be taken at BC toward high school graduation, because of the sensitive nature of the content of the class, and the potential to share class time with older, adult students in the college setting, we strongly recommend that all students take the health class through the Issaquah School District offerings to ensure a safer environment conducive to teaching more directly about teenage issues around health. Students and parents should also be aware that there is no opt out component for the HIV/AIDS section of the health course, nor will students receive occupational credit for the course at BCC.
Before registering for Running Start classes each quarter, you must have your Skyline counselor sign BC’s High School Verification Form located on BC’s website. Call the Counseling Center Secretary for an appointment 425-837-7887. If you have questions regarding course equivalencies and/or course selection contact your SHS counselor.
