SnugSafe Harness Crotch Buckle Adjustment Guide

Please see to the right an image of the car seat before any adjustment is made to the crotch buckle

Step 1 Lift the new born liner and remove the crotch buckle from the liner. As is shown the buckle is in point (1) This buckle point is for premature and small babies (approximately 8Ib’s). Point 1 Point 2

Step 2 Fully lift the soft goods which will reveal white padding and the plastic base of the seat.

Step 3 You will see at this stage the crotch buckle is at point (1) when we need to move to point (2) Point 1 Point 2

Step 4 Lift up the white padding and this will show the buckle strap at point (1) This needs to move to point (2) Point 1 Point 2

Step 5 From the underneath of the base remove the buckle attachment by pulling it out and feeding the clip through the hole at a side angle as this will need to be moved to slot (2)

Step 6 Remove this buckle physically from the car seat as shown in the image to the right.

Step 7 Pass the buckle through the white padding.

Step 8 The buckle can then be seen to be fully removed from the seat to be re-positioned.

Step 9 Lift the soft goods back up again ready to reposition the buckle into point (2)

Step 10 This step illustrates where you would feed the buckle into the new hole.

Step 11 Put the crotch buckle in at an angle to pass through the hole easier.

Step 12 At the back of the seat, see the buckle passed through sideways to allow it to be fed through easier.

Step 13 The buckle is now re-inserted into point (2)

Step 14 Feed this through the white padding and back through the seat cover slot.

Step 15 The buckle is now fully re-positioned into point (2)

Step 16 Finally the buckle will need to be fed back through the hole in the new born liner.
