! DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
SPECTRUM of the LIGHT (part 2)
1. God’s Love is o^en mischaracterized by believers and unbelievers alike. What are some incorrect statements you’ve heard about God’s Love and why are those claims in error? 2. One way we demonstrate the Love of Christ is in forgiving others. What is forgiveness and what are some things o^en thought of as parts of forgiveness but aren’t? Is it easier to forgive when we know what forgiveness actually is? And what about Mabhew 18 and its limitaNons and context? 3. Another way to show God’s Love to others is to offer hope to those without hope. How do you know when someone has “reached the end of their rope”? How might someone respond to such an offer if they aren’t (or don’t believe) they are without hope? 4. As His redeemed, there is nothing we can do to cause God to love us more, or anything to do to cause Him to love us less. Do you believe that? Why or why not? Why is it important to believe this?
