The progam should already be installed on your computer so there is no extra cost of purchasing the program. However, before you get started you will need to buy a microphone and connect it to your computer. Better quality microphones are going to be more successful with recognizing your speech. The two most common types of microphones used are headset microphones and desktop microphones. Headset microphones are typically better for speech recognition because they do not pick up background noise.
