Dear Friends of the Treasure Coast: The Marathon of the Treasure Coast 2016 invites sponsors to participate in all aspects of this March 6, 2016 weekend event, which includes a full marathon, half marathon, four-person marathon relay, 10K, 5K, multi-race challenge, runner’s expo, and the Marathon Rock & Run Music Festival and Pasta Party hosted by Terra Fermata. The Marathon of the Treasure Coast will draw more than 1,500 attendees each day and hundreds of endurance athletes who will participate in the races. Runners will make their way, for 26.2 miles, through the beautiful streets of Stuart, Jensen Beach, Hutchinson Island and Sewall’s Point. We invite you to participate in all of this, and to promote your brand and products, as a special sponsor for this event in a variety of packaged categories described in the following pages. We are also open to your suggestions regarding other ways you might be interested in promoting your business to our community in the weeks leading up to, during and several months after the Marathon of the Treasure Coast 2016. This event is hosted by TC Running of the Treasure Coast to enable philanthropic and community outreach through endurance athletics and special events. A list of our primary charitable beneficiaries are described at the end of this packet. Run for Charity Contest Runners on the Treasure Coast are known for their philanthropic efforts and giving back to the community. We welcome all participants in the Marathon of the Treasure Coast to add meaning to your miles! Running for a charity inspires you and your supporters. In addition, you have the opportunity to change lives and to give back to your community. To sign up to run for a charity, please follow these simple steps: 1. First, view the listing of charities to find one you would like to support. 2. Next, as you register for the race, mark the charity you selected and create or join a Charity Team. 3. Then, a fundraising website will be created for you automatically. 4. Now, direct supporters and sponsors to your specific fundraising page to begin working toward your race goal. 5.
