St. Stephen Catholic School Needs YOU! All SSCS families are required to volunteer in support of our school. Opportunities abound! Watch for information in the Tidbits (weekly electronic newsletter), in your Thursday folder, on Facebook (be sure to LIKE US!), and through emails from your homeroom teacher or homeroom parents. New families are required to complete four hours with Angels Among Us. Find below some immediate needs for volunteers. Movie Night Coordinator - this volunteer coordinates our new school event Movie Nights at the FLC! You help choose an appropriate movie, coordinate setting up and breaking down the event, and supervise volunteers selling concessions. Two movie nights are scheduled for this year. This is an immediate need. Contact Tara Dibble at [email protected] if you are interested in coordinating the Movie Night, helping sell concessions, or helping with set up and clean up. Spirit Wear Coordinator - this volunteer coordinates Spirit Wear sales with our vendor, is available during select school events to sell spirit wear inventory, and works with the PTCO Executive Board to identify new products. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to volunteer from the comfort of their own home. Email [email protected] if interested in volunteering for this position. Spirit Night Coordinator - this volunteer coordinates with local restaurants our spirit nights, identifies new local restaurants to approach about hosting spirit nights, and works with the PTCO Executive Board to improve our Spirit Night experiences. Homeroom Parent - each homeroom teacher has 1-2 homeroom parents to assist them with various tasks as needed. Contact your child’s homeroom teacher if you are interested.
