Forward from leadership One of the many responsibilities of the AIK leadership is to engage in strategic planning. There are a number of reasons to do this. Strategic planning addresses how to accomplish AIK’s vision using the resources available to us. It helps us to align our unique abilities as we take advantage of opportunities when they present themselves in order to accomplish our shared goals. It is a systematic process that encourages us to envision a desired future, then translate that vision into goals or objectives and create a sequence of steps to achieve that vision.
Our Mission Atheists In Kenya’s mission is to promote the growth and interaction of atheists in Kenya.
Our Vision To stoke the flame that is reason as society leaves religion in our past.
Our Values Inclusion We believe that that all people have value and the right to belong. Community We will strive to create an open community for atheists to interact, learn and grow. Justice We are committed to resisting the structures that oppress and discriminate against atheists and the wider society. We will stand with those who suffer under the weight of oppressive systems, being guided always by our commitment to Global Human Rights. Learning We will encourage and supports continuous learning.
