Featured Speaker: Barbara Rubel Barbara is a nationally recognized leader in the field of coping with traumatic loss and compassion fatigue. Barbara developed Palette of Grief®: The art of dealing with life-changing events. She was a hospice bereavement counselor, facilitated several bereavement support groups and taught at Brooklyn College. Barbara’s parents were both police officers. Her father died by suicide while Barbara was giving birth to triplets.
