Students of the Interact Club visit Army Unit As a part of ‘World Interact Week’ celebration, the Interactors of M.L. Khanna DAV Public School, Dwarka visited the Army Unit - 20 Mahar Regiment. to express their sincere thanks to the warriors of the country. This was a rare and unique opportunity for the school children and to get inspiration of the gigantic tasks of the Army Units. The students were shown around the regiment by army officials. They were given detailed description on the way of usage of various arms and ammunition used by the Infantry. Army Officers explained to the school students various aspects of the artillery. Demonstration on the use of landmines and hand grenades was also given. Students felt exhilarated to have a view of the artillery used in battle ground.

The Interactors expressed their gratitude to the army personnel by presenting them handmade cards and chocolates as a token of respect for their constant dedication towards the country. The students had a candid chat with the soldiers over tea and snacks, in which the students quenched their curiosity by asking questions about the life of soldiers. The interaction with the army personnel gave them an insight into the passion and zeal of the true patriots of the country. The visit also fuelled in some students the spirit to join army. The students learnt about their hard work and sacrifice and all that they go through for the safety of the country. It was a great opportunity for the students and the faculty members to visit the Army Unit and interact with the people who serve the nation.
