CANDIDATE CONSENT FORM The following information explains what may happen following an enquiry about a result (EAR) and any subsequent appeal. If you make an enquiry about a result, there are three possible outcomes:  Your original mark is lowered, so your final grade may be lower than the original grade you received.  Your original mark is confirmed as correct, so there is NO change to your grade.  Your original mark is raised, so your final grade may be higher than the original grade you received. Please note that if your grade is RAISED, you will receive back the re-mark fee but not the script fee. If following your EAR, you, along with your class teacher remain dissatisfied with the outcome then an appeal must be submitted in writing by the Exams Officer within 14 calendar days of the notification of the outcome of an enquiry.
