Forestry intern positions are available at the locations listed below. College students currently enrolled in a forestry or closely related decree program are eligible for these opportunities. 1. Hood Canal Tree Farm Office (Duration 3 Month Summer)

2. SW Washington Office Chehalis , WA (Duration 3-6 Month Starting in the Summer) 3. NW Oregon Office Wilsonville, OR (Duration 3-6 Month Starting in the Summer) Job focus will be: Data collection on 5-25 year old tree plantations Harvest and Road layout assistance for Area Foresters GPS unit boundaries and roads Contract compliance monitoring of silviculture activities (e.g., PCT, slashing) Mapping
Forestry Interns typically work 40 hours per week Monday-Friday on an Hourly basis. No housing is provided but a company vehicle will be provided for use during working hours. Minimum qualifications: Self-starter individual with good verbal and written communication skills. Must be skilled with Excel, GPS, and mapping. Requires the ability to work independently in the field in all types of terrain and weather conditions.
