To be in the forefront of package trends and innovations Sourcing Primarily to source and buy Packaging Materials (labels and packaging). Stays abreast with packaging innovations in the Personal care and Cosmetics market. Works with Marketing, R&D, QA and the planners in coming up and delivering the best packaging/label options possible to qualify with quality, cost and time requirements Ensures that the purchasing guidelines for packaging set out by QA are followed Continuously seeks to improve material cost Ensures suppliers compliance to GKI material standards and specifications Expedites and de expedites deliveries to ensure timeliness of material availability without building inventory Maintains, keeps current the buying database Role includes ensuring Innovations Project Management processes are in place and adhered to

Qualifications:          

Graduate of engineering or any supply chain management course Minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing company as buyer/purchaser for packaging a MUST Knowledge and experience in Green packaging a plus Good negotiation and purchasing skills Fully knowledgeable on the commodity suppliers landscape; able to navigate efficiently in Asia Pacific Able to work with Marketing Creatives and Innovations group Forward-thinker, learns from challenges and able to plan out for future Computer proficient with experience in supply chain software An interest in natural and organic personal care products Willing to work in our new office in Sta.
