To give you a head start on shopping for supplies for the next school year, below is a supply list for math. Keeping your supplies neat and organized will save you money in the long run and keep you from replacing things throughout the year. Each student will have a binder with 3 subject dividers with a folder and keep an interactive notebook. The connected math textbooks will be left in the classroom. They are used to complete labs in class, they are not used as a resource. My website and the students interactive notebooks will be their resources. We will be using 6-7 different texts throughout the year. Enjoy your summer!

Supplies Needed to Keep Students Organized!! 1 or 1-1/2” Binder w/clear view cover 1 Composition graph paper notebook or 1 single subject graph paper spiral notebook

Loose-leaf paper for binder (the dollar store paper and recycled paper rips very easily and is NOT recommended, you want something that will not rip easily)

3 Dividers for binders w/labels (plastic ones are preferred, they last longer) 1 Folder with binder holes (plastic one is preferred, they last longer) 5-8 Pencils (mechanical pencils preferred)

1 Small personal pencil sharpener (w/plastic cover that collects its own shavings) 1 Eraser

1 Highlighter 1 Dry erase marker 1 Roll of scotch tape

4-5 Colored pens or (2) 4-in-1 retractable 6-8 Colored pencils 1 Soft pencil case with 3 binder holes (to keep in binder)

15-20 clear sheets to protect important papers in binder Independent reading book (must be a chapter book) *will be needed at all times *A set of colored pencils, markers, glue sticks, a ruler, a calculator, etc. will all be needed in addition to the above, but they can be left at home. There will be many times that work at home will need these items.
