Your citizenship grade will be based on your behavior, participation, and attitude. In order to get an E or an S in citizenship, you cannot have more than 3 tardies during the quarter. In order to help keep you on track with your academic performance, every Wednesday will be Study Hall. During this time, student planners will be checked for completion. Students will be graded on their planner completion. Students will also occasionally be asked to clean out binders and backpacks to help with organization.
Rm. 1 Classroom Rules • The 3 Be’s – Be responsible. Be respectful. Be safe. • Be seated at your desk when second bell rings and ready to learn. • Turn in all work (classwork, homework, tests) in tray marked with “Per. 6”. • Water bottles are for DRINKING ONLY. They are a privilege, not a right. • Sign out and take a Hall Pass when leaving room during the period. • Leaving the room to go to bathroom/locker during the period costs 1 Hawksome ticket or 1 tardy. • Bring an outside reading book to class every single day. • Doing nothing is NEVER an option – for Study Hall ALWAYS bring something to work on or read. • Put chairs up at end of period and leave room no worse than how you found it, preferably better than you found it
Every choice you make has consequences, and the consequence you get is a result of the choice you make.
