EXPRESSION OF INTEREST Terms of reference In order to carry out a comprehensive study of the phenomenon of anticipated gregarious flowering of Dendrocalamus strictus in Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR), from legal, silvicultural, wildlife perspective and submit a work plan for management of bamboo forests in pre and post phases of gregarious flowering with special emphasis on fire protection, wildlife management, disposal of harvested bamboo (if any), management of regeneration, and management of tourism, the Executive Director, TATR foundation (Field Director and CCF, TATR, Chandrapur) wishes to appoint a consultant on the following term and conditions: Essential Qualifications

The consultant has to submit a work plan (5 Hard Copies plus soft copy) covering various subjects stated in the TOR above. The plan to be prepared and finalized in consultation with the technical committee appointed by PCCF Wildlife. The inception plan, draft plan and final plan should be submitted within fifteen days, four months and six months respectively after appointment. Fees

Terms & Conditions

The consultancy is purely on contractual basis for a period of six months extendable further depending on requirement.

Rs. 3,00,000 for the whole assignment payable in three installments (i) 10%, 40% and 50% after receipt of inception, draft and final plans respectively.

iii) Accommodation at Forest rest houses will be provided during field visits on payment basis as per availability. iv) Transportation from Chandrapur to TATR will be provided free of charge by the employer. Other traveling will be as per the tour plan approved by the employer. The incidental expenses will be reimbursed as per actuals.

v) The Executive Director, TATR Foundation, Chandrapur, reserves the right to reject any candidature in view of incomplete information provided by the candidate or for any other reason thereof.
