DIVIDE LOOPS INTO GROUPS OF FIVE Materials: ½ inch Maltese Fork, size 11 steel crochet hook, #20 Anchor Mez and two shuttles. Using a ½” Maltese Fork, make a slip knot and place on prong turn fork. Pull thread up through knotted side of noose and chain 1. Remove crochet hook and turn fork towards you. Left prong is now right prong. Re-insert hook into chain loop, always crocheting in the back loop. Work 1 sc, continue in pattern. 60 loops per side. Divide loops in groups of five. Using two shuttles wound CTM. *Sh1: R3-3+(j to five loops of hairpin lace)3-3. Chain RDS 3-3. *Repeat 11xs more.

Sh1: R3+(j to last p of last Sh1 R)3+(j to same group of five loops as last j)3-3. Sh1: R3-3+(j to next group of five loops on other side of lace)3-3. Chain RDS 3-3. Sh1: R3+(j to last p of last R)3+(j to same group of five loops as last j)3-3. RW DR Sh2: R3-3-3-3. RW
