Technical View Weekly Report NIFTY DAILY CHART

NIFTY IS LIKELY TO TEST 5390.

Resistance levels Resistance 1:5350 Resistance 2: 5390 Resistance 3: 5450 Support levels Support 1: 5200 Support 2: 5120

Last week Nifty started to trade with a shake session and traded in the narrow range of 5095 and 5190 next four successive trading sessions. However, a strong bullish rally was seen from on Friday and Nifty rose to make a weekly high of 5286.25. At last, it ended the week with a net gain of 2.58%. The buying was witnessed across the board. However, Power, Metal, Banking, Capital goods and Health care stocks were on the buyers’ radar. Now we expect this rally to continue to 5390 and a breach of this level is likely to take Nifty higher to 5450 and then 5520 in the extreme short term.

After starting with a shaky session, the Nifty fell to make a weekly low of 5095.50 on Tuesday and then it rose to make a high of 5286.25 on Friday. Friday. At the end of week Nifty closed at 5278.90. It had a net gain of 2.58% 2.58% over the previous week’s close. The buying was witnessed across the board. However, Power, Metal, banking, Capital goods and Health care stocks were on the buyers’ radar. After consolidating in the band of 5040 and 5190 for last twelve trading sessions, Nifty has given a strong bullish rally to 5286.25 on Friday. Now we expect this rally to continue to 5390 and a breach this level is likely to take Nifty higher higher to 5450 and then 5520 in the extreme short term. However a breach of 5040 would indicate the end of current rally and in that case Nifty may test 4960 and then 4880. 4880. We recommend holding long positions positions with a stop loss of 5040. 5040. For the coming week, first support support of Nifty Nifty is at 5200 and the resistance is 5350. 5350. If Nifty Nifty break breaks aks 5200, 5200, it may further further go down to 5120 and then then 5040. 5040. However, if Nif Nifty ifty is able to sustain above above 5350, 5350, the level of 53905390-5450 would become the the next target. target. -530th June, 2012
