Behavioral Treatment Using Telehealth We are happy to announce that we are accepting individuals with Autism Diagnosis who engage in disruptive behaviors like Aggressıve Behavior, Self-injurious Behavior or Property Destruction to participate in a new telehealth program. There is no cost to participate in this program.
In the Telehealth project, all behavioral assessments and treatment procedures are conducted at the families’ homes. Using telehealth over the internet, families receive coaching from a behavior therapist who is located at UHCL. We teach caregivers how to conduct the behavioral assessment and treatment.
Eligibility Requirements Autism Diagnosis Have a computer and internet access Engage in Disruptive Behavior Ages: From 18 months to 6 years and 11 months
The principal investigator of the Telehealth Project is Dr. Dorothea Lerman, at the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities at University of Houston-Clear Lake.
