Abstract: The present sample contains information on the preparation of papers for the 24th Conference on Magnetism and Magnetic Technologies which will be held at National University of Kaohsiung, Kaohsiung, Taiwan during June 27- June 29, 2012. The sample is written in the style required for typing. Please carefully follow the instructions provided to ensure legibility and uniformity of accepted papers and conference records.
I. GENERAL INFORMATION Papers submitted to the conference will be included in the conference proceedings. The deadline for submitting the papers is June 12, 2012. It is not the postmark date, by this date your paper must be in the hands of the conference chairman. The conference committee reserves the right to reject papers received after this date. All the presented papers will be produced by photo-offset reproduction of the materials prepared by the authors. These instructions are only for the preparation of papers. In the paper there should be sufficient detail to clearly explain the author's idea, method, or formulation. It should contain results showing that the work presented has already matured to the level publication. Therefore, authors should present enough p e r t i ne nti n f or ma t i oni nt h epa p e rt ohe l pr e v i e we r s ’ evaluate it correct. Papers should include an abstract not exceeding 100 words. This will speed up correct classification of the paper. And the papers should cover approximately 3 to 5 pages, including figures, tables, and references. The papers can be written either in English or Chinese. However, for the papers written in English, the use of grammar and spell checkers is strongly recommended. It is also suggested that you should try to get your paper proofread by a well-trained Englishspeaking colleague. II. TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The section describes how to prepare the camera ready copies of the papers in detail.
Camera Ready Copies If you are using a desktop publishing environment, you can prepare the camera ready copy on A4 size papers, 29.6 cm x 21 cm (11.6 x 8.3 in), on one side only. 1) Type sizes: If possible, use a proportional, serif typeface such as Times New Roman. The type sizes used in this instructional sheet are shown in Table I. Follow these type sizes as closely as you can. 2) Double Column Format: The papers should be prepared in double column format. Set the top and bottom margins to 2.5 cm (1 in) and the left and right margins to 1.8 cm (0.7 in ). The separation between the columns is 0.5 cm (0.2 in ). Use 0.5 cm (0.2 in) for paragraph indentation. 3) Paragraphs: Follow the indented paragraph format with left and right justification. In this format there is no space between the paragraphs. Leave one space between sections. On the last page try to make the length of the two columns the same. Title and Headings The title of the papers, the names of the authors, their business affiliation and address, and major headings and subheadings should be typed with the style used in this sample.

Symbols and Abbreviations When using symbols and abbreviations in text and illustrations strictly follow the IEEE standards. Hand Lettering Generally, avoid hand lettering. If necessary use black ink very carefully. Equations When numbering equations, enclose numbers in parentheses and align with the right margin of the column as in (1). Do not use "Eq. (1)" or "equation (1)," etc. At the beginning of a sentence use "Equation (1)..." D H.dl= (J+ t ) ds (1)
References When citing references in th text, type the corresponding reference number at the end of the sentence in brackets followed by the punctuation [1]. Avoid using "Ref. [1]" or "reference [1]." At the beginning of a sentence use "Reference [1]..." Examples for a journal paper is given in the list of references. Figures and Tables You can either digitize the figures or paste good quality black and white photocopies, on standard white paper. In the figure captions and when referring a figure use "Fig. 1"as shown in Fig. 1. For numbering the tables use roman numerals as demonstrated in Table I.
