The  Beloved  Fields  of  Elul   Spiritual  Preparation  for  the  High  Holy  Days   Retreat  with  Rabbi  Hannah  Laner     Saturday,  August  23,  2014   10:00-­4:00     The  month  of  Elul  provides  an  opportunity  for   inner  reflection  and  preparation  for  the  High   Holy  Days.  Elul  is  an  acronym  for  Ani  L’dodi   V’dodi  Li,  I  am  my  beloved’s  and  my  beloved  is   mine.  During  Elul,  we  can  call  upon  God’s   Divine  Presence  for  support  as  we  examine  our   behaviors  and  our  important  relationships.       Retreat  will  include  prayers,  contemplative   practices  and  provide  resources  to  help  bring   awareness  to  our  inner  work.    

Location:  Rabbi  Hannah’s  mountain  home,  near  Nederland   $36.00,  Space  is  limited.  Advance  registration  required  by  Wednesday,   August  20,  2014  @  [email protected],  720-­‐878-­‐3528.  Directions   will  be  emailed  upon  registration.   Mail  payment  to:  Rabbi  Hannah  Laner,  P.O.  Box  674,  Nederland,  Co.   80466   Please  arrive  on  time.  (Driving  time  from  9th  and  Canyon  is  about  25   minutes.)     Kiddush  lunch  –  Please  bring  a  vegetarian  or  fish  dish  to  share.   Bring  a  tallit,  journal,  pens,  water  bottle,  sunhat,  sunscreen,  light  jacket,   and  a  cushion  or  backjack  (if  you  want  to  sit  on  the  floor).     We  will  be  indoors  and  outdoors,  and  there  will  be  time  to  walk  in  nature.   Please  wear  comfortable  clothing  and  shoes.
