Cambridge Kids Are Walking! By Mrs. Reed It started 5 years ago when CES joined with thousands of students from other schools all over the country in our first annual Walk at Recess Day. This day provided an opportunity for students to get exercise and experience the simple enjoyment of walking. Two years later, we started our Walk it Wednesday program. This program started with a grant from the American Dairy Association as a way to encourage students to im-
prove wellness through the physical activity of walking. Students enjoyed it so much, Nurse Reed has been walking on Wednesdays during recess ever since.

Hello and Goodbye! By Lily W After student teaching at Barstow and Neshobe, Mrs.Durkel decided to come to work for Cambridge based on the fact that she found an interest in all the dedicated teachers. She so far loves her new class/classroom because everyone helped make it great. Mrs.Durkel became a teacher because enjoys teaching something she loves.
Although Mrs.Longley will be dearly missed we are happy to welcome Mrs.Durkel to Cambridge’s 3rd grade team.
