In this book Otabil seems to return to the themes in his seminal book "Beyond the Rivers of Ethiopia". Evangelicals focus on the great commission and evangelism, which is good. But we often forget the other mandates in Scripture. In this book, Otabil treats the primary Scripture mandate to have dominion over creation. The book is welcome in that the topic does not get enough exposure in evangelical circles. I found some of the detail This is a book of everyday theology - meant for people to use. They seemed to flow more from modern management ideas than from the Scripture text. Nevertheless, anyone who has not thought about what God expects from him in relationship to the mandate God gave to humans at creation will benefit from reading this book, as will any pastor who might want to preach on this under-taught topic. 2 likes
