The Greenfield Township Trustees met in regular session at the firehouse. John Reef called the meeting to order and led those present in the Pledge of Allegiance. Larry Joos, George Hallarn, and John Reef were present. After each Trustee had reviewed the minutes from the previous meeting, Larry moved to approve the minutes; George seconded, and all voted yes. FROM THE FLOOR Hollie Mattei of Fairfield County Regional Planning was in attendance to discuss the services provided to the member communities consisting of all townships, villages and cities within Fairfield County. John Reef asked about the Larry Wolfe incident and the platting issues that created a delay in their lot split approval. Ms. Mattei stated that Regional Planning reviews Zoning compliance and County Subdivision Regulations and both must comply to move forward. Paul Bishop of River Valley Life Center, 2190 Coonpath Road was in attendance to discuss the new structure and apologize to the Township for not applying for zoning permits. Mr. Bishop wanted to pursue permits for the new building and resume building. Kevin Yeamans stated that he has discussed the plans with the health department and it was determined that the plans are not all the same. After discussion it was determined that all entities involved will meet to determine the actual plan for the project. There will be a meeting scheduled for January 12, 2015 at 9:00AM at the firehouse. ZONING BUSINESS There were no permits or fees for the prior two weeks. Kevin provided a newsletter article for the upcoming newsletter. Jimmy Benson discussed the property at 3500 Havensport Road with Kevin, and wanted a letter stating the current use of storage for equipment would be permitted. The trustees suggested a variance, rezone or conditional use for the property. No letter can be provided to allow storage of equipment. Kevin contacted Charles Strohmeyer, property owner on Stringtown Road and let him know that he is not permitted to run a home business. Further action may become necessary if Mr. Strohmeyer does not comply. Kevin discussed the Liberty Township meeting and the cell tower issues. FIRE DEPARTMENT BUSINESS Chief Morris presented his submission for the newsletter.

Chief Morris stated he received building plans for the Helber property on Columbus Lancaster Road. The Fire Department will be having their Christmas party on Sunday and all Township Officials were invited to attend. ROAD AND CEMETERY DEPARTMENT BUSINESS The Trustees signed the ODOT mileage certification. Tom submitted his newsletter article. Tom wanted to discuss the Road Maintenance in the future. John wanted to discuss the paving projects in the township and whether there will be any tar chipping completed. Tom feels that in the future paving will be the best option, but currently tar and chipping will be necessary. Tom discussed the trailer currently stored at Liberty Township and the pictures he took for govdeals.com. Tom stated that Dave Keller of Liberty Township contacted the trustees and they are willing to purchase the trailer for $3700.00. After discussion, Larry made a motion to let Liberty Township purchase the trailer for $3700.00 if they wish to, John seconded, Larry and John voted yes, George abstained. Tom stated that Donnie Crow was interested in working part time and is a CDL driver. Larry made a motion to hire Donnie Crow as part time road worker, John seconded, all voted yes. Tom wanted to notify the trustees that he has called a resident who had some issues with Mt. Zion Road, in regards to holes filled in the roadway. Tom felt the resident might contact them. John discussed cemetery pricing and Larry felt graves should be increased from $800.00 to $1000.00. George made a motion to increase graves to $1000.00 effective immediately, Larry seconded, all voted yes. John made a motion to go into executive session to discuss salaries, Larry seconded, all voted yes. John made a motion to come out of executive session, Larry seconded, all voted yes. No action taken at this time. Larry attended the Carroll Council Meeting and the council wanted to thank the Road Department for their help during the snow emergency. FROM THE TRUSTEES

FROM THE FISCAL OFFICER The Fiscal Officer passed various pieces of correspondence and the Financial Reports. There was discussion of meeting dates schedules. Larry made a motion to change the December 24th meeting to Monday, December 22nd at 9:00AM at the administrative office and 2015 meetings will be held on the second Wednesday, 7:00PM at the Firehouse and the fourth Wednesday, 9:00AM at the Administrative Office, John seconded, Larry and John voted yes, George voted no. John made a motion to approve Resolution #2012 1 25 01 Transfers between Line Items Larry seconded all voted yes. Larry moved, John seconded, and all voted yes to approve financial reports, and all Then & Now Purchase Orders. Larry moved, John seconded, and all voted yes to pay the bills and the Payroll Electronic debit associated with warrants 29777 through 29815 listed on the attached Check Register. George made a motion to hold the Regional Planning check until they hear back from Steve Davis; Larry seconded; all voted yes. Business concluded; meeting adjourned.
