The Providence Chapter of Chums, Inc. Announces its 2018 Scholarship Opportunity Dear Principal and Guidance Counselors: The Providence Chapter of Chums, Incorporated, seeks your assistance in helping us inform and encourage students of African-American or Black descent and a United States citizen graduating in 2018 with excellent academic achievements, SAT scores, and outstanding community service who plans to further their educational goals by attending college to apply for our 2018 Constance B. Edmonds Scholarship.

As we continue our mission to “Listen to the Children” you are very important to us in helping to share this information with students you believe meet our academic criteria as well as encourage their parents or guardians to approve and submit it by our postmarked deadline of April 30th, 2018.

We have attached a folder with our application materials for distribution to your students. If any of your students, parents or guardians need more information, we suggest they mail a letter to The Providence Chapter of Chums, Inc., P.O. Box 40746, Providence, RI 02940, and include any questions or clarifications they have and the best way to contact them.
