“I love the visual energy that comes from the imperfect, the unexpected. People sometimes think designers create fairy tales, but we give them something that’s much more sincere. We don’t live in fairy tales.” Interior designer, Victoria Hagan

Our Place Restaurant Our Place Concept Statement While Our Place already promotes a lively environment for learning as well as enjoying the diverse dishes prepared by its students, the space needed a makeover to freshen it up and bring it to its full potential. Drawing inspiration from local scenery, the color scheme consists of cool blues and crisp whites in the upholstery and surface materials as well as warm browns found in the wood flooring and rustic brick accent walls. In order to maintain a space that is both restaurant and class friendly, the materials used are commercial grade which will allow for heavy wear and tear as well as the ability to be cleaned easily. Our Place will offer a fresh, contemporary space that still encompasses the cool, unique style of downtown Wilmington.
Dedication Page To all of my family for inspiring me to improve my natural instants for design, through education, without all your support I would have never been able to complete my educational dreams..
To all of my teachers at Cape Fear Community College, the education, was without one of the best experiences in my life. I have laughed and cried over what seemed at the time to be endless projects and nightmare deadlines. But in the end, Great time and sacrifice paid off. Thank you
The greatest complement I wish to receive as a designer, is when my design is complete. It will not only tell my story but reflect the style and character of its owner.” T. Monk
