EXT. A TINY HOUSE (THINK A LIFE SIZE DOLL HOUSE)-SOMEWHERE NEAR THE OUTSKIRTS OF PORTLAND, OREGON FRED and CARRIE stand happily out front. FRED We used to live in a penthouse apartment. CARRIE We were stressed out at work, paying high bills and having no joy in our lives. FRED That’s when we decided to join the “Tiny House Movement”. And this is were we live now. He points to the house. CUT TO: INT. KITCHEN The couple is cooking. CARRIE Just need to reach across you to get the pepper there.... FRED Oh, just watch the fire. CARRIE Am I on fire? FRED No, just watch it, there’s not a lot of room in here. CARRIE Right. Oh hun, you’re on fire! FRED Put me out, put me out!!!! CUT TO:

2. EXT. TINY HOUSE Fred and Carrie out front.

Fred’s arm is heavily bandaged.

FRED I love cooking! CARRIE And eating! CUT TO: INT. DINNING ROOM/LIVING ROOM/OFFICE/FOYER Fred and Carrie are eating on a table the size of a placemat. Their heads are touching. FRED How was your day? CARRIE Great! How was yours? FRED Can you move your head? CARRIE Can you move YOUR head? FRED I literally can’t get the fork to my mouth if I keep my head like this. CUT TO: EXT. TINY HOUSE They both have bruises on their heads. CARRIE Some people are afraid of having a compost toilet, but it’s actually kinda fun. FRED Yeah, we know exactly what comes in and what goes out. They both laugh and high five. CUT TO:

3. INT. BATHROOM Fred exists the bathroom holding the “fecal bucket”. FRED That was a big one. CARRIE It’s the beat root from the garden and can you please hurry up because it stinks. Fred holding the bucket tries to get to the door to dispose of the contents. He struggles to get around Carrie as the hallway is so narrow. Oh, sorry.

FRED

CARRIE Are we going? Over? Around? Under? FRED I think if you hold the bucket.... Right.

CARRIE

FRED Oh, sorry, got a little poop water on you. CARRIE It’s okay, it actually helps open up my pores. FRED Oh really. Put some on me. I love our small house. CARRIE So do I. We learn new things everday. CUT TO: EXT. TINY HOUSE Fred and Carrie are covered in “poop water”.

4. FRED Some people say that the Tiny House Movement makes people isolated and anti-social. CARRIE We find that our tiny house draws people in and starts discussions. Mailman comes up the walk. MAILMAN Oh, Hi. I have mail for a Fred Smith. Whoa, what is that smell. FRED Oh, that’s me, I’m Fred and it’s “poop water”, it’s good for the pores. MAILMAN Whatever. Do you live here? FRED Yes, this is my home. We built it. MAILMAN Oh. I thought it was a small child’s treehouse. FRED No, it’s an adult’s home. MAILMAN Whatever. Freak. Gives him the mail. Leaves. Fred’s brother TED comes out of his house. FRED Oh, hi Ted! We’re making a documentary on the “Tiny House Movement”, say hi to everyone. TED Fred, first you stink and secondly when are you going to be moving this thing out of my backyard? FRED Umm... I don’t know. I thought we talked about this Ted.

5. TED I want it outta here. FRED Where are we going to go? I’m your brother. Where are we going to go? TED End of the week? The kids need their jungle gum back. Fred smiles awkwardly to the camera. Okay. Got it. TED End of the week, I’m going to hold ya to that. Ted goes back in the house. CARRIE Join the Tiny House Movement today! A piece of the roof falls off. FRED (whispers to Carrie) My arm is REALLY hurting and Ted’s an asshole! End.
