Why I Give

I give for the Mission & Service of the United Church because I want to contribute to God’s mission beyond my local congregation. Jack and I have always divided our offering equally between our local congregation and Mission & Service. We know that our gifts support the ministries of our global partners as well as a wide range of outreach ministries across Canada, including Aboriginal ministries and congregations in isolated communities that depend on receiving mission support grants.

Through our gifts for Mission & Service, we are also contributing to ecumenical and interfaith initiatives that are important to us. Being a part of the Mission & Service of the church both expands our world and brings it closer.
