“Top Chef” A 100 Point cooking event

Scope: Working with a partner (groups of 2 only), you will research two recipes for meals (Main Course Type) that you would enjoy. Using skills learned in this class, you will have to adjust the scale of the recipes to adjust for your family (for example, a recipe says it serves 2 people, but you have 5 in your family). The second recipe will be adjusted for the class size (25-30 people). In addition, you will have to look up pricing from for ingredients for each meal. The results will be presented to the class using your iPad or similar device.
