Mentor: Founder & Executive Director, 17 years of experience on Environmental Education & Communications Internship time: Full time (Negotiable) Intern stations: GAIA Office in Ho Chi Minh City or off-site, and field work if needed.

On the job training

INTERN PURPOSE 

Learn neccessary skills and attitude to work as an Environmental Education and Communications expert: Conduct and deliver training courses, nature discovery programme, communications compaign, managing social media...), knowlege on nature, wildlife...; design and photography; team work; leadership and other social skills. You will gain better English, as well.

LEARNING & EXPERIENCING OPPORTUNITIES

You will be participating in the International Quality Training on Environmental Education for National Parks and Protected Areas in Bach Ma National Park. https://goo.gl/m4LZjE

1.

Coordinate and implement education and communications activities such as: building capacity for national parks and protectected areas of Vietnam on Environmental education, Connecting Youth to Nature Conservation; deliver talks and trainings to school students, teachers, publics, national park staff, and other stakeholders...

2.

Manage volunteers for all Gaia’s activities.

3.

Coordinate social media activities of Gaia.

4.

Conduct researches related to wildlife, nature and environment, when possible.

5.

Translate into English/Vietnamese.

Strong passion in nature, especially Nature Education and Communications. Good interpersonal skills (Will be improved during internship). Positive and obtimistic attitude. Basic knowledge of wildlife and nature is a priority (Will be improved during internship). Good English skill is a priority (Will be improved during internship). No matter if you are last year student or have graduated. Priority will be given to newly graduated and last year young talented one.
