Choose a partner (Up to 3 students can play at a time.) Each player chooses a different colored counter for their game piece. Each player takes a TOSS, WRITE, CIRCLE recording sheet and writes the players names on top. Each player takes a turn and tosses his/her counter on the gameboard. Identify the number out loud. Write the number on the TOSS, WRITE, CIRCLE recording sheet. Make sure to record your partner’s number, too! Look at the numbers and circle the greatest one. If the numbers are the same, the round is over and you can start a new round. Continue playing until your recording sheet is full. Compare the numbers circled at the end of the game to determine how many numbers you each circled.

Write a number sentence using your number and your partner’s number. 8. Solve the number sentence. 9. Start over and play until your recording sheet is full!
