Toys through Time: Toys and Leisure Time in History and Culture A symposium sponsored by the Kean University Department of History and Liberty Hall Museum Wednesday, Feb. 17, 1 PM, Carriage House at Liberty Hall To accompany Liberty Hall’s “Toys through Time” exhibit, the Department of History is hosting a symposium: “Toys through Time: Toys and Leisure Time in History and Culture” on Wednesday, February 17 at 1 PM at Liberty Hall. The symposium begins a series of short talks held in the Carriage House. Following coffee will be the Keynote address by Dr. Peng Yang on “Toys, China, and Science Fiction: Fantasy and Imagination from Ancient China's Toys to the Commercial Promotion of Modern China's Toys.” The symposium concludes with a tour of the exhibit at 3:15.
