b) The average normal flow of traffic on cross roads A and B during design speed are 450 and 350 PCU per hour, the saturation flow values on these roads are estimated as 1200 and 900 PCU per hour respectively. The all red time required for pedestrian crossing is 15 secs. Design two phase traffic signal. 10 7. a) Explain the advantages and disadvantages of grade separated intersections. Write a note on interchange ramps. 10 b) Explain the general types of co-ordination of signals for road network. 8. Explain the following :
