Rules for 2017 Treasure Coast Race Series, Age Graded To earn race series points, runners must register for the Treasure Coast Running Club Premium Package. (http://bit.ly/TCraceSeries2017Reg)
Throughout the race series, each runner's race results will be modified using age grading for their age on race day. Race Series standings will be calculated based on Age Graded Race times.
TCR Running Series awards are given to: ●
Top 10 male and female overall, Age Graded

To those who complete all of the Series Races
Points are assigned in each division, male and female as follows:
1st - 10 points
4th - 7 points
7th - 4 points
10th - 3 points
13th - 2 points
2nd - 9 points
5th - 6 points
8th - 3 points
11th - 2 points
14th - 2 points
3rd - 8 points
6th - 5 points
9th - 3 points
12th - 2 points
15+ - 1 point
All participants will earn a minimum of 1 point for participation in each race. Double points will be awarded for the Treasure Coast Half/Full Marathon and TC Halloween 13.1 Half Marathon. In the event of a tie at the end of the season: 1. The head to head, Age Graded winner of the Turkey Trot (final race) wins. 2. Winner head to head the most often (if neither run Turkey Trot). 3. Greater number of events completed. Age grading is a way of putting all race participants on a level playing field, regardless of age or gender. This age grading lets you compare your race times to older and younger runners. TC Running uses the age grading factors approved by World Masters Athletics and USATF Masters Long Distance Running Committee. (http://runscore.com/Alan/AgeGrade.html)
