Risk Insurance rates have been received from Ohio School Plan. We put out requests for proposals every 2 years so I am recommending to approve the rates with Ohio School Plan. The rates compared to last year are: FY2015 FY2014 Auto $6,370.00 $7,139.00 Property $37,794.00 $29,422.00 Liability $7,454.00 $6,687.00 School Violence $505.00 $505.00 Total $46,123.00 $43,753.00

2. At the May MABT insurance meeting, the trustees voted to discontinue offering the traditional PPO plan effective January 1, 2015. Assuming employees that were on that plan change to the Alternate PPO same family/single coverage as we have today, under today’s percentages paid by employees, the 28 employees going from traditional PPO plan to Alternate PPO plan is a savings to the board of $38,000 per year. With what was negotiated prior to the elimination of the traditional PPO plan, it is a savings of $34,000 per year (85% board paid PPO and 95% board paid Alternate PPO). 3.
