2. PUT THE TROMBONE TOGETHER a) Twist the mouthpiece in (otherwise it might get stuck) b) Make an “L” with the slide and bell. c) Hold the instrument correctly (like we discussed in your lesson). d) Right hand goes on the slide.

3. Your First Notes a) Be sure to form your mouth the correct way. (Mmmmmmm) b) Hold each note out and listen for a steady and loud sound. c) Sit Tall - Trombone should point almost straight out. d) Bring the Trombone to your face - Do Not bend your neck or head.
