Twitter @WhitleyLodge1st Whitley Lodge First School is going to use Twitter to share information with parents! Our ‘Tweets’ will be about what’s going on at school, and may include photos or video of children’s work and activities, and may also be used to provide useful links and messages. The class Twitter accounts will mainly be used to post tweets about that particular class. Care is always taken when tweeting, so these accounts have privacy settings which means that parents have to request permission to view any tweets. To do this, parents need to login to their own Twitter account, search for a class account, e.g.@WLFS_Red, and click to ‘Follow’ that account. The school will review all requests and grant access where appropriate. The main school Twitter account, @WhitleyLodge1st, is public and parents can ‘Follow’ this without having to request permission. Selected tweets from the class Twitter accounts will be re-tweeted by this account. These tweets and retweets can be seen in our Twitter feed on the front page of the school website.
